For Families
Evaluations for children, teens and young adults, ages 5–22.
When Parents Call Dr. Tutty
Most families reach him with a version of the same question: "Something isn't working at school, and we don't know why."
A report card, a teacher's comment or a pediatrician's screening raises a concern, but it doesn't explain the cause. A comprehensive evaluation is how you find out whether you're looking at ADHD, autism, a learning disability like dyslexia, anxiety, or a combination, and what will actually help.

What the process looks like for your family
Before testing
A free consultation, then a background interview about your child's development, school history and what you're seeing at home.
Testing day
One full day at the Lexington Avenue office. It is a long day, so a good night's sleep beforehand helps. Bring any past evaluations and school plans.
Feedback
A meeting, in person or by video, to go over results and recommendations in plain language.
The report
Usually within 2–3 weeks: findings, plus specific recommendations for home, school (including 504 plans and IEPs) and any treating clinicians.
